ARE YOU LOOKING FOR RUG CLEANERS IN LIVERPOOL OR THE WIRRAL?
If so, why not call me for a price on 0151 448 1797.
I see all kinds of rugs on my cleaning travels, this picture shows a popular type that a lot of my customers have.
Long shaggy strands that hold onto a lot of dirt, this one as an example is placed next to the french doors leading out to the garden.
The owner had been cleaning this with a Rug Doctor shampoo. I explained to her that this is why it was so dirty, she was creating a sticky base for dirt to stick onto.
HOW DID I CLEAN THIS RUG?
This particular rug was laid onto a sheet on my customer’s driveway, as she had small children in the house it just made things easier as they were keen to ‘help’!
First up I got the Kirby vacuum out and set it to a high setting, otherwise, the long strands of the rug may have gotten pulled up and tangled within the machine.
Next up I had a hot freshly made up sprayer of my specialist rug cleaning solution and gave the rug a good even coating of this.
To get the most from this formula I used a good stiff agitation brush, along with some elbow grease and proceeded to give the rug a good brush through.
GETTING THE RUG DRY
So once clean, the rug did need a little while to dry out, it wasn’t soaking but you could feel slight moisture on it.
I find a good place to leave my customers rugs once clean and smelling great is over a banister at the top of the stairs, or if the weather is ok, over a table or swing set in the garden.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU HAVE YOUR RUGS CLEANED?
How many people live in your home? If its just one person with little foot traffic, maybe every 2 years will suffice. Got kids, dogs, and rabbits? You may need this service a couple of times a year.
IS RUG CLEANING EXPENSIVE?
No! And if you have several cleaned at the same time it will work out really cost effective.
